Job summary

Concilio seeks a Program Specialist (Youth Development) to support day-to-day operations of a year-long violence prevention program for high-risk youth. You will supervise, mentor, and guide participants in academic, recreational, and enrichment activities, while ensuring a safe, engaging environment.

You will participate in field trips, coordinate with the program team, and help evaluate outcomes. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, and a passion for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience working with youth.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead youth, provide guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Lead program activities and ensure engagement and development.
• Chaperone field trips and manage safety, logistics, and enjoyment.
• Maintain communication with Program Coordinator and CBS Director regarding progress and needs.
• Track youth participation and progress toward program goals.
• Assist in program evaluation and collect feedback for improvement.
• Provide support and positive guidance to youth, promoting growth and resilience.
