Job summary

Girls Inc. is seeking staff to create a welcoming, high-energy environment for girls after school and during programs in Omaha. Responsibilities

• Ensure Girls Inc. is a welcoming and safe space for girls.
• Use a warm and welcoming tone with girls.
• Encourage girls’ strengths and curiosity.
• Celebrate girls’ successes.
• Express confidence in a classroom setting.
• Maintain a productive classroom by using appropriate student management techniques.
• Provide a safe environment for girls through safety procedures and drills.
• Assist staff with maintaining a safe environment for girls in play and learning.
• Participate in safety trainings and staff development.
• Serve as a role model for girls in social skills and conflict resolution.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Complete program paperwork (daily outcome reports, attendance, etc.).
• Substitute in any classroom, on transportation routes, or field trips as needed.
• Interact appropriately with girls and ensure transportation rules are followed.
• Assist with meals and snacks as required.
• Assist with cleaning high-touch areas.
• Drive Girls Inc. vehicles for pickups and field trips.
• Communicate concerns to supervisor.
