Make a Difference in a Child's Life - Become a Youth Care Worker in Omaha, NE!

Starting Pay: $18.00/hour for 2nd shift. Full-Time Shifts: 2nd shift (Evenings 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm). Including rotating holidays and weekends.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Teaching skills and monitoring youth behavior
• Creating a safe and positive living environment
• Supporting youth academic success and personal development
• Transporting youth to appointments, school, and activities
• Assisting with intake and departure documentation
• Observing and participating in mediation and planning conferences with youth and their families
• Serving as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission
• Physically and emotionally able to manage stressful situations
• Working indoors with some outdoor activities and occasional interruptions

Who We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Demonstrate CPR and nationally recognized personal restraint model during pre-service training; CPR certification must be obtained during pre-service training
