Job summary

China Lake Golf Course is seeking a custodian to support custodial and housekeeping services for child and youth programs. Duties include cleaning floors, bathrooms, classrooms, and surfaces, as well as window care, light maintenance, and trash removal.

The role requires following established specifications and reporting safety hazards to supervisors. Responsibilities also cover equipment maintenance, proper storage of supplies, and ensuring storage areas remain unobstructed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors: sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes, polishes floors and cleans carpets.
• Wipes mirrors, fixtures, and surfaces in bathrooms and kitchens.
• Cleans entrances, classrooms, doorframes, and paper towel dispensers.
• Cleans windows, changes light bulbs, replaces blinds, washes walls.
• Dusts and polishes furniture; avoid areas within reach of children.
• Empties and washes trashcans.
• Inspects grounds and notifies supervisor of hazards.
• Maintains restrooms in a sanitary condition, reports leaks and required repairs.
• Sweeps sidewalks and parking lots.
