Job summary

Crossroads YMCA is hiring a Custodian to support our community-focused team. This role cleans and sanitizes facilities, follows daily checklists, and helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment for members and staff.

Responsibilities include mopping, dusting, trash removal, window washing, and operating custodial equipment. A minimum of 1 year related experience and CPR/AED & First Aid certifications are required, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• At least 1 year of related custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize facilities daily according to the checklist.
• Perform mopping, dusting, trash removal, window washing, and vacuuming.
• Handle equipment safely and follow directions from custodial leadership.
• Train, coach, and mentor custodial staff as needed.
• Maintain inventory and report repairs or hazardous conditions.
