Job summary

Crossroads YMCA is seeking a Custodian I to keep the facility clean and welcoming for members. Under Custodial Leadership, you will perform daily cleaning, restocking, and light laundry tasks, following established checklists to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include mopping, restroom sanitation, dusting, trash removal, window washing, and basic equipment upkeep. Must be 16+, able to lift 50 lbs, and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays; CPR/First Aid certification within

Qualifications

• Required to be at least 16 years old.
• Six months related experience preferred.
• CPR/AED & First Aid certifications due within 30 days of hire.
• New Employee Orientation completed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to read and follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize facilities daily.
• Mop, dust, vacuum, and empty trash.
• Restroom sanitation and window washing.
• Restock closets and assist with laundry.
• Follow checklists and report repairs.
• Maintain security of building and report hazards.
