Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows seeks a Clubhouse Coordinator to oversee Lemmon Valley Clubhouse daily site operations, ensure high-quality programs, lead staff and volunteers, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

You will work with families and community partners, ensure program quality and compliance, and manage resources. This full-time on-site role requires communication, organization, and dedication to youth development and BGCTM values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations.
• Ability to produce data/reports in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff deliver programs per BGCTM quality standards.
• Represent the Club and communicate mission and opportunities to families.
• Recruit, register, and promote member participation in programs.
• Develop relationships with parents, schools, and community partners.
• Regularly evaluate program quality and objectives; audit outcomes.
• Recruit, manage, and support staff with onboarding and development.
• Oversee member behavior and clubhouse safety and needs.

Strong Clubhouses. 50 Years of Great Futures.As the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows celebrates its 50th Anniversary of serving our community, we are looking for a Clubhouse Coordinator to independently oversee all daily site operations at our Lemmon Valley Clubhouse location. This role would ensure the delivery of high-quality programs aligning with Club standards and youth development outcomes, provide leadership to staff and volunteers, maintain a safe and well-managed clubhouse environment, serve as a primary contact for families, and represent the Club within the community while ensuring compliance, resource management, and program quality.Our Mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens.These are some of the responsibilites of a Clubhouse Coordinator:Ensure that site staff are consistently delivering programs in accordance with Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Program Quality standards by providing direction and supportRepresent the Club by communicating the mission, program objectives, and scope of opportunities available for families and membersActively recruit and register new members and families, and promote consistent member participation in Club programsDevelop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with parents, local civic groups, school district partners, and social agencies within the communityRegularly evaluate and audit the overall quality and objectives of programsRecruit, manage, and support staff through effective onboarding, performance management, and career developmentProvide oversight and direction regarding member behavior and needsEnsure that all areas of the clubhouse are well maintained, in excellent working condition, and are safe and secure at all timesALL BGCTM employees have the responsibility to help maintain the safety of our members and staff and ensure an optimal Club experience for all. Work hours include weekday before and after-school programs and all-day care during school breaks.The schedule is balanced, with time set aside for planning, training, and administrative tasks outside of program hours.There will be occasional required hours on evenings and/or weekends for special events and family activities.Required Education & Experience:High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.Minimum of three years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs to youth and teens or a combination of education and relevant experience.Skills & Abilities that make a successful Clubhouse Coordinator:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a diverse population, and represent BGCTM professionally to the community.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Able to produce and provide data/reports in a timely manner.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Physical Requirements & Work Environment:Must be able to perform duties which require walking, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and/or bending for long periods of time. May occasionally be required to kneel, run and/or climb.Must be able to use hands and arms to enter data into the computer, use the telephone and other office equipment.Must be able to perform surface and deep cleaning appropriately using potentially hazardous cleaners including bleach, as needed.Must be able to lift, move manipulate and or hold objects up to 45 pounds.
