Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Prevention Specialist Trainee in Honesdale, PA. This role supports school and community prevention activities, assists in program planning, and maintains records.

You will help with training and evaluating prevention efforts, and participate in SAP meetings after training. The position is seasonal, with hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, and no telework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Applicant considered if within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out school and community prevention activities.
• Help prepare and deliver educational programs and presentations.
• Maintain prevention records and enter data into the state system.
• Take part in evaluating programs and identifying community needs.
• Serve as a liaison at SAP meetings after required training.
