Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, Education, the Social or Behavioral Sciences or related fields.
• One year of experience in drug and alcohol prevention work, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• PA residency required; must pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Program Planning: Develop prevention programs that meet identified school and community needs
• Community Representation: Serve as the Single County Authority representative on committees and local groups
• Education Delivery: Provide training, lessons, and intervention services to students, parents, educators, and service providers
• Documentation Management: Maintain required records and complete timely data entry in the DDAP prevention management system
• Program Evaluation: Assess program effectiveness, perform needs assessments, and adjust strategies as needed
• SAP Support: Offer consultation, screenings, and support group facilitation as the Drug and Alcohol liaison to SAP teams
