Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies in Petaluma, California, is seeking a PHP Therapist / Social Worker to deliver clinical services, co-facilitate training for the PHP team, and ensure program integrity and documentation. The role centers on intensive short-term stabilization via group therapy in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

The position offers a full-time, on-site schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:30 am–4:30 pm) with a salary range of $75,409–$89,409 per year, annual increases, and benefits including

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related subject area.
• Registered or eligible to register with California BBS (AMFT, ASW, APCC, or fully licensed).
• At least 21 years of age.
• TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
• Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurability under Seneca’s policy.

Responsibilities

• Hold clinical integrity for the program.
• Maintain on-time clinical documentation.
• Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy.
• Facilitate risk assessments, case management, and discharge planning.
• Provide clinical trainings and information to staff when needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community members and providers.
• Proactively problem solve when issues arise.
• Assist with intakes, as needed.
• Support other Seneca programs when client enrollment permits.
• Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques per Seneca training.
