Job summary

SANARE is seeking a licensed or licensure-track therapist to join our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The role centers on leading group-based care for teens and providing individual and family sessions as needed, within a supportive, structured setting.

You will collaborate with caregivers and the treatment team to advance each adolescent's goals. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a mental health field, licensure orlicensure-track status, and experience with

• Experience conducting clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Experience developing treatment plans and completing intake, progress, and discharge summaries.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily PHP groups for adolescents.
• Incorporate evidence-based and experiential interventions in structured group sessions.
• Utilize developmentally appropriate therapeutic modalities to support treatment goals.
• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions as needed in collaboration with caregivers and the treatment team.
• Conduct initial assessments, determine levels of care, and coordinate transitions with the team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage authorizations promptly.
• Engage in bi-weekly clinical supervision and case consultation.

About the position:

We are currently hiring a therapist to join our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This role is ideal for therapists who are passionate about group-based care and interested in supporting adolescents navigating a range of mental health challenges. The therapist will provide a supportive, structured environment focused on helping adolescents build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and work toward their treatment goals.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily PHP groups for adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges.


• Incorporate evidence-supported and experiential interventions within structured group sessions to promote emotional regulation, coping skills, and personal growth.


• Utilize developmentally appropriate, evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support adolescents in achieving their treatment goals.


• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions as needed, while collaborating with caregivers and the treatment team.


• Conduct initial consultation assessments, determine appropriate levels of care, and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transitions in treatment.


• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage authorizations in a timely manner.


• Engage in bi-weekly clinical supervision and case consultation with peers to support professional growth and maintain program consistency.

Who You Are:

• Experience facilitating group therapy and working with adolescents ages 14-18


• Experience conducting clinical assessments, consultations, and diagnostic evaluations.


• Experience developing treatment plans and completing clinical documentation, including intake, progress, and discharge summaries.


• Working knowledge of treatment planning, clinical documentation, charting, and progress notes.


• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.


• Ability to work effectively with adolescents, families, clinical teams, and community referral partners.

Required education and experience:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field


• Licensed or working toward licensure in a mental health field (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).


• Experience working with adolescents, preferably within the 14-18 age range.


• Pay range: $60,000 to $70,000
