Job summary

Raise the Future is seeking a Youth Connections Advocate in Reno, NV. You will learn about each youth, review histories, and advocate to connect them with stable, lasting adult support to achieve permanency.

The role requires building connections, traveling within Nevada, and coordinating with CASA, judges, and social services to place youth in loving homes. A background in child welfare and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in child welfare, CASA, courts, probation, DHS, foster care or related settings.
• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic data mining skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a network of connections to help youth achieve permanency.
• Advocate for youth and coordinate with CASA, courts, and human services.
• Travel up to 50% within-state and occasionally out-of-state as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain organized case management.
