Job summary

Raise the Future is seeking a Youth Connections Advocate to help place youth in permanent homes and build lasting connections with families and mentors. The role centers on understanding each youth’s history, needs, and goals to craft tailored solutions that promote stability and permanency.

You will work with CASA, case workers, attorneys, and other professionals, travel up to 50% across the state, and engage in outreach to identify opportunities for youth to thrive in caring environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with CASA, judicial system, probation, DHS, foster care, group homes, day treatment, or mental health is a plus.
• Able to travel up to 50%, primarily within the state.
• Willingness to engage in cold calling and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Find permanent homes for youth, focusing on those hardest to place.
• Review youth history and needs, advocate, and leverage connections to help achieve permanency.
• Build networks with CASA, attorneys, judges, and other stakeholders.
