Job summary

Raise the Future in Utah is seeking a Youth Connections Advocate to help find permanent homes for youth, especially those hardest to place, within the foster care system. You will review histories, listen to youth needs, and leverage connections to secure stability and permanency.

You will expand your knowledge of the child welfare system, learn trauma-informed practices, and apply the Wendy's Wonderful Kids model to recruitment and youth outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in child welfare including CASA, courts, probation, DHS, foster care, group homes, day treatment or mental health.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the state and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Identify permanent homes for youth, focusing on hardest to place.
• Advocate for connections to support permanency.
• Coordinate with CASA, courts, and DHS for timely outcomes.
