Job summary

Crossroads YMCA is seeking a Part Time Performance Coach at the Dean & Barbara White Southlake YMCA in Crown Point, IN. The role focuses on delivering Parisi Speed School programs, building rapport with families, and promoting healthy development in youth athletes.

You will plan and conduct sessions, monitor progress, and uphold safety standards while working evenings and weekends to accommodate program schedules.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to relate and communicate effectively to diverse groups.
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends, as most participants are grade school students.
• Desire and ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead Parisi Speed School classes, paired training, and personal training sessions with athletes.
• Regularly communicate with parents about athlete progress.
• Plan and deliver group classes and training sessions to engage athletes and meet goals.
• Create session guides for athletes based on age and ability, updating as needed.
• Maintain attendance records and ensure safety and equipment checks.
