Cenikor Foundation in Texas seeks a Peer Recovery Leader to work with 13–21 year olds, delivering direct recovery support and building rapport through lived experience.

You will collaborate with Family and Marketing teams, maintain accurate records, and help participants reach short- and long-term goals while promoting Cenikor's commitment to growth, learning, and community service. This is a full-time, on-site role.

• Possess good time management skills needed to meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with above average skills in MS PowerPoint and Outlook Calendar.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct support recovery services to 13-21 year old participants as a Peer Recovery Leader.
• Draw from lived experience to build rapport and help participants create, facilitate, and maintain goals.
• Embrace and work from a collaborative, multiple paths to recovery framework.
• Determine participant goals and assist participant to reach short and long term goals.
• Keep detailed and organized documentation of individual sessions, groups and community meetings/partnerships.
• Submit monthly and quarterly reports in a timely manner with accurate numbers of participants involved in YRC.
• Create a wellness plan which will be updated regularly.
• Attend all mandatory Cenikor Trainings and Cenikor and YRC Team meetings.
• Work with the Cenikor Marketing Coordinator to create flyers, memes, and brochures as needed for the YRC Program.
• Connect participants and make referrals to community resources; assist in contacting resources, scheduling appointments, arranging transportation for participants and families.
• Assist in the process of skill building for participants and coordinating community resources.
• Work closely with the Family Coordinator to engage the whole family in the recovery process.
• Establish linkages with community organizations to sustain recovery; reach out to three partners monthly.
• Conduct recovery support groups to provide positive emotional support and address daily life issues.
• Plan structured activities based on participant needs.
• Develop and implement recovery community service projects with family involvement.
• Plan fun and sober events to support participants in recovery.
• Schedule and conduct presentations of YRC services to gain community buy-in.
• Be available to help and cross-train other team members to facilitate all YRC Groups.
• Provide outreach strategies to increase participation and access to services for diverse populations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
