Job summary

Sunshine Gospel Ministries in Chicago seeks an energetic Youth Outreach Engagement Associate to lead after-school programs for high school students and summer camps for various ages. Qualifications

• BA degree in a related field or 2+ years in ministry/non-profit settings.
• Ability to engage high school students and communicate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data tracking and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Cultural sensitivity and collaboration in diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead after-school programs for high school students and summer camps for various ages.
• Conduct metrics reporting, inventory, and purchasing to support program activities.
• Maintain safety logs and comply with licensing and policy requirements.
• Provide spiritual leadership and help guide mentors to keep God at the center of programming.
• Foster clear parent communication and maintain program data across sites.
• Contribute to curriculum development and lesson planning for multiple age groups.
• Manage program budgets and resources; assist in recruiting and training volunteers.
• Cultivate partnerships with schools and community organizations to broaden opportunities for students.
• Support emotional well-being and behavior management aligned with Youth Outreach policies.
