Job summary

Mentoring Alliance After School seeks ministry-minded individuals to lead enrichment activities for elementary students. This part-time role (non-exempt) is 17–20 hours weekly with a Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. schedule and requires CPR/First Aid certification and a background check.

Candidates should align with the organization's faith-based mission, bring a passion for youth development, and ideally speak Spanish. A valid US work status and transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• Agree with Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
• Must be 17+; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Passion for working with elementary children.
• CPR/First Aid certification mandatory.
• Background/Sex offender check required.
• Valid driver’s license or ID; able to work in the United States.
• Spanish-speaking ability valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead elementary students in enrichment activities after school.
• Support youth development in a safe, welcoming environment.
• Maintain supervision during program hours, Mon-Fri 2:00–6:00 p.m.
