Job summary

Ozone House in Washtenaw County, MI, seeks an Outreach Coordinator to design and implement education, outreach and welcoming efforts for youth and young adults. You will conduct crisis assessments, connect clients to services, and help supervise peer outreach workers across schools and community partners.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, event planning, group facilitation, and data reporting, with on-site work at the Drop-In Center and community events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required.
• 2+ years experience with homeless/high-risk youth preferred.
• 3+ years outreach and crisis-intervention experience.
• Experience engaging diverse identities and communities.
• Familiar with Positive Youth Development, Harm-Reduction, Housing First, Trauma-Informed approaches.
• Valid MI driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis assessments and short-term interventions.
• Staff at Drop-In Center and support peer outreach workers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools and youth organizations to increase access to services.
• Document interactions and outcomes for program evaluation.
• Plan and facilitate life skills and youth development groups.
