Ambassadors For Christ, Inc. is seeking a full-time Mentoring Program Coordinator in Pine Bluff, AR. The role oversees the youth mentoring program, including recruitment, screening, matching, monitoring and concluding mentor-mentee relationships, with ongoing communication to all parties involved.

Responsibilities include policy implementation, onboarding/training, outreach, and event planning. The position requires travel (approx.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in mentoring, youth development and/or volunteer management.
• Experience working within nonprofits, community organizations and/or schools preferred.
• Extremely strong organizational, writing, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis in social work, psychology, volunteer management, and/or education.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently is a Plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of the youth mentoring program.
• Recruit, screen, match, monitor and close mentor and mentee relationships.
• Communicate with mentor, parent/guardian and mentee throughout the relationship.
• Coordinate mentor/mentee orientation, trainings and matching activities.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
• Supervise participation of mentors and mentees in the program.
