Job summary

The DFSS Youth Mentor position reports to the Site Director and Data Director. The role interprets, plans, and carries out all aspects of programming and services related to the DFSS Youth Mentoring Program at assigned sites, as outlined in the LOA/MOU, providing leadership in mentoring activities, events, and grant deliverables.

The mentor ensures timely submission of required reports, coordinates with staff and volunteers, recruits youth participants, supports SEL and academic activities, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 2+ years in program development, planning, implementation, or administration.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a team-driven environment.
• Experience mentoring program development and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of the mentoring program.
• Recruit and outreach to youth participants.
• Provide leadership for leadership development programs.
• Evaluate participants and provide SEL support.
• Maintain program records, reports, and minutes.
