Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 2+ years in program development, planning, implementation, or administration.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and staff supervision abilities.
• Experience in mentoring program development and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of the DFSS Youth Mentoring Program.
• Conduct recruitment and outreach of youth participants.
• Provide leadership for Leadership Development Programs.
• Evaluate participant performance and progress.
• Provide social-emotional support and engage youth in SEL skill-building, Trauma-Informed Care, Restorative Justice Practices, Academic Achievement Support, Leadership Development, and Project-Based Programming.
• Develop objectives aligned with DFSS performance outcomes and metrics.
• Maintain program records and reports in City Span; ensure timely grant deliverables.
• Oversee project-based participants, staff and volunteers.
• Maintain yearly files, literature and meeting minutes for programs and events.
• Communicate with mentors to apply best practices and coordinate training opportunities.
