Midwest Youth Services is seeking a JAY:PRO Mentor to work with staff, community organizations and youth to provide supervision, mentoring and life-skill development for youth referred to JAY:PRO.

The role emphasizes youth diversion from child welfare and juvenile justice, family preservation, and coordinating education, employment and training services, with a focus on confidentiality and probationary evaluation.

Qualifications

• Direct service to youth and families.
• Mentor youth on each shift and model appropriate behavior.
• Document and report according to project guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service to Youth
• Model and mentor youth on each shift.
• Engage with youth to teach essential job and life skill development while completing service tasks.
• Transport youth to and from community service sites safely; supervise and mentor youth at sites.
• Complete all documentation and reporting requirements per project guidelines.
