Job summary

Oxbow Academy in Sanpete County, Utah, seeks a Youth Mentor to provide a safe, supervised environment for in-crisis families. You will help youths begin healing, support families, and foster authentic, healthy relationships through guided activities and mentorship.

The role offers part or full-time hours, a starting pay of $16+/hour with bonuses, a signing bonus, and benefits after probation. Experience with high-adventure activities is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 20+ years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to pass criminal background check.
• Able to pass motor vehicle record check (if applicable).
• Utah driver’s license required within 30 days of employment.
• First Aid & CPR certified (we may provide).
• Aegis certified (we may provide).

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, supervised environment for youths to begin healing.
• Support families in crisis and help rebuild trust and healthy relationships.
• Participate in high-adventure activities to build authentic connections with students.
