Job summary

Nexus Family Healing is opening a new 14-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility in Eugene, Oregon, and seeks a Mental Health Therapist to oversee trauma-informed clinical assessment, treatment planning, and family engagement. This full-time onsite role involves collaboration with families, youth, and community providers to ensure continuous care and successful discharge planning.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a behavioral field, is on track for Oregon licensure

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, social work, marriage & family therapy, psychology, counseling, or clinically related field.
• On track to licensure or provisional/intermediary license acceptable.
• Experience in residential or intensive inpatient/outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trauma-informed care: establish a positive treatment culture and environment.
• Develop and monitor individual treatment plans with youth and family input.
• Coordinate family collaborative intake and discharge planning with community providers.
• Lead milieu coordination and trauma-informed treatment groups.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
