Job summary

Handley Regional Library seeks enthusiastic individuals who have a passion to promote literacy through creative programming for youth and displays. Nights and weekends required.

Under the supervision of the Youth Services Manager, you will assist patrons, help maintain collections, develop programs and services, and support daily operations to ensure resources are available and well managed.

Qualifications

• Two years of college required.
• Bachelor’s degree and previous library experience or equivalent education and experience preferred.
• Experience with technology including cloud-based software required.

Responsibilities

• Answer reference questions and provide readers advisory service.
• Instruct users in physical and e-library materials and computer resources; refer to other library resources as needed.
• Promote the Library’s collections and services through outreach, displays, and programs.
