Job summary

Employment Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Programs Manager to lead youth leadership initiatives, coordinate governance and events, and strengthen program delivery from its Herndon, Virginia office.

This full-time, hybrid role offers a $60,000 annual salary and opportunities to develop leadership programs with diverse partners. You will manage councils and elections, create reports for stakeholders, and oversee training content and awards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in youth-focused roles and administrative support.
• Strong leadership and management capability with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong written communication skills, including business writing and editing for accuracy and clarity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience working with databases.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and improve routine processes.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds as needed for meeting and event preparation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend strategic goals, objectives, and a program of work with youth leadership groups.
• Manage youth council activities and election processes, improving workflows and outcomes as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with students, staff, and external partners to support program objectives.
• Plan and produce conference general sessions and related leadership events, including logistics and content coordination.
• Prepare periodic and special reports on program activities, progress, and results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee leadership training content development and ensure presentation quality and alignment to organizational standards.
• Manage scholarship, award, and contest application processes, including reviewer coordination and award disbursement.
