Job summary

La Crosse County is seeking a dedicated Youth Justice Supervisor to lead social workers and paraprofessional staff serving children and families involved in the juvenile justice system. You will guide case planning, direct supervision, and ensure services align with state standards and trauma-informed care.

As a supervisor, you will oversee staff development, partnerships with courts and schools, and program evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in public administration, social work, psychology, sociology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and administrative direction for social workers engaged in intake, assessment, case planning and case management for youth in the justice system.
• Hire, supervise, train, motivate and evaluate Youth Justice staff.
• Ensure fidelity to validated risk and needs tools and best practices in service delivery.
• Monitor budgets and report program outcomes; prepare reports for Health and Human Services Board and committees.
