Job summary

RISE Services is seeking a compassionate Youth Job Coach to assist students with disabilities in exploring careers, building workplace skills, and preparing for employment after high school. You will tailor activities for ages 14–21, support resume creation, interview practice, and career exploration in school, workplace, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with teenagers or young adults, especially with disabilities or special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and support learners.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities; reliable documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging career-readiness activities tailored to individual students.
• Help students identify strengths, interests, and employment goals.
• Teach job-search, resume-building, and interview preparation.
• Coordinate with schools, families, employers, and vocational rehabilitation counselors.
• Support work-based learning experiences and community activities.
• Ensure confidentiality and accurate electronic documentation.
