Job summary

RISE Services is seeking a compassionate Youth Job Coach to help students with disabilities explore careers, develop workplace skills, and gain real-world experience for employment after high school. The role supports ages 14–21, working in schools, workplaces, and community settings with regular local travel.

A bachelor's degree is not required. Training is provided, and the position offers full-time hours with afternoon, evening, and weekend availability to align with student schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience working with teenagers, young adults, or individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and build relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel within service area.
• Excellent organization and time-management.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging career-readiness and employment activities.
• Help students identify strengths and employment goals.
• Teach job-search and employment-readiness skills.
• Assist with resumes, applications, and interview prep.
• Conduct mock interviews and career-development activities.
• Help students understand careers and pathways to employment.
• Teach workplace communication and professional behavior.
• Prepare for work-based learning experiences.
• Coordinate employer and community activities.
