Downtown Boise YMCA is seeking a passionate Tumbling Youth Instructor to join our team. The role develops and delivers high-quality tumbling programs for youth, fostering confidence and growth in a welcoming environment.

Part-time position with classes at Downtown Boise YMCA and Micron Early Learning Center. Pay is based on experience per class, with additional weekend options possible. Candidates must have teaching experience and strong communication skills to inspire students.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tumbling/Gymnastics Teacher or relevant role; 1 year minimum.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver tumbling lessons that teach tumbling maneuvers through demonstration and safe practices for students of different ages and skill levels.
• Ensure thorough warm-ups prior to lesson plan and practices.
• Create a positive and exciting classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized studio space.
• Stay current with trends and techniques to continually enhance your teaching skills.
• Communicate effectively with the Youth Director.
• Follow safety, CAP, and code procedures.

Description

Downtown Boise YMCA is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Tumbling Youth Instructor to join our team! This position is responsible for creating a friendly, welcoming, and positive environment for youth participating in group classes. The instructor will supervise participants while developing and delivering high-quality tumbling programs that encourage learning, confidence, and growth.

Work Locations:

• Downtown Boise YMCA - 1050 W. State Street, Boise, ID 83702
• Micron Early Learning Center - 7847 South Federal Way, Boise, ID 83702

Schedule:

This is a part-time position averaging 6–8 hours per week, based on the class schedule.

Current class times include:

• Tuesday: 9:30–11:00 a.m.
• Additional after-school and weekend classes may be available.

Pay:

Pay: $18.06–$27.09 per class rate, based on experience, class length, and age group.
