Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. in Bremerton, WA is seeking a Youth Inpatient Unit Milieu Manager to lead the milieu and supervise BHTs and coordinators on an onsite basis.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field (or 8 years of behavioral health experience) and valid CPR. 5 years in social services or related area with 1 year supervisory experience is expected. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Services, Behavioral Health or Education OR High School Diploma and 8 years of behavioral health experience.
• 5 years’ experience in social services, behavioral health or education; 1 year in staff supervision.
• Washington Food Handler card.
• Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily milieu operations and supervise Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) and Admissions/Logistics Coordinators.
• Develop milieu curriculum and conduct staff training.
• Monitor milieu acuity and client risk, ensuring de-escalation and safety.
• Coordinate physical interventions with treatment team as needed.
• Oversee admissions workflow and master schedule planning.
• Support staffing plans based on census and acuity trends.
