Job summary

Arc provides after-school and experiential education programs across Southern California. The Inclusion Aide helps ensure students with diverse needs are included in activities and receive the support to participate safely and happily in a welcoming setting.

In this part-time role, you will collaborate with site staff, monitor safety, assist with routines, and support families. A background check, CPR/First Aid, and college units are required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in educational or after-school settings.
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must pass Live Scan background clearance and have CPR/First Aid.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support students in participating in daily program activities.
• Provide individualized support and encouragement.
• Assist with homework completion and learning activities.
• Promote positive student behavior and engagement.
• Assist with attendance tracking and student transitions.
• Collaborate with program staff, school personnel, and families.
