Job summary

Larkin Street Youth Services is seeking a Housing Developer in San Francisco to secure and maintain housing partnerships for youth services. The role focuses on cultivating relationships with landlords to ensure safe, affordable housing options for young people aged 18–25, while coordinating with case managers to align placements with individual needs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Bay Area housing market and experience negotiating with property owners.
• Experience in social services case management or related field.
• Ability to work with youth and collaborate with case management teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain housing partnerships with landlords and property managers as primary leaseholder.
• Negotiate lease terms and advocate for youth-focused program needs.
• Mediate conflicts and support housing stability and youth tenancy.
• Maintain records of partnerships, leases, and occupancy data.
