Larkin Street Youth Services seeks a Housing Developer to secure and sustain youth-friendly housing options across San Francisco. The role focuses on cultivating relationships with landlords, negotiating leases, and ensuring safety and suitability for young participants.
You will work with case managers to place youths in appropriate housing, educate tenants on rights, and support access to ancillary services that promote stability and independence. Travel across the Bay Area is required.
Since 1984, Larkin Street Youth Services has helped more than 75,000 young adults in San Francisco with outreach, shelter, housing, education, employment, healthcare, and other services.
Today, Larkin Street Youth Services is the largest provider of housing and services to homeless youth in the Bay Area. We serve 1,500 youth annually, operating or partnering to provide more than 500 emergency shelter, transitional, supportive, and subsidy-based housing beds at several unique sites across San Francisco.

Under the guidance of the Program Director, the Housing Developer plays a critical role in securing and maintaining housing partnerships for Larkin Street Youth Services as the tenant. This position focuses on cultivating relationships with property owners, landlords, and community partners to ensure access to safe, affordable, and youth-appropriate housing options.
This is a full-time position , eligible for full benefits.
