Job summary

Larkin Street Youth Services seeks a Program Manager of Diamond Youth Shelter to lead daily operations, supervise residential counselors and case managers, and ensure compliance with licensing and program requirements. The role emphasizes community collaboration, budget oversight, and staff development to support youth aged 12 to 18.

Qualifications

• Experience with Transitional Aged Youth (TAY), 18–25, from diverse backgrounds.
• Direct-service roles in drop-in centers, shelters, transitional or permanent supportive housing programs.
• Previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Diamond Youth Shelter for youth ages 12 to 18.
• Supervise residential counselors and case managers.
• Develop and implement program services and ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
• Manage program budget and ensure agency procedures are followed.
• Coordinate intakes, assessments, scheduling, and data collection.
• Represent the agency at community meetings and participate in management meetings.
• Ensure Title 22 Community Care Licensing compliance at all times.
• Pass DOJ clearance to work in a licensed facility and obtain Group Home Administrator Certification within 6 months.
• Serve as On-Call Supervisor and cover holidays as needed.
