New Avenues for Youth is seeking a compassionate Housing Case Manager in Portland, OR to guide youth through housing planning and independence. This full-time role supports youth with crises, connects resources, and coordinates with service providers while documenting progress and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years in youth work, a driver’s license, CPR training, and a commitment to equity and cultural competence in a diverse community. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience or lived experience in youth-focused services.
• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be a mentor and guide, building genuine connections with youth and helping them work toward goals.
• Empower youth through advocacy, helping navigate systems and access resources, coordinating with providers.
• Support growth through case planning and skill-building for greater independence.
• Document the journey with accurate, timely records to support program needs.
