Job summary

The Opportunity Alliance seeks a Case Manager for its Homeless Youth Services program in Maine. The role involves intensive case management for youth at risk of homelessness, linking to housing and essential services, and coordinating care teams to stabilize families and caregivers.

The position is full-time (40 hours), based out of the South Portland office with some evenings and travel as needed. A Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field is required, with LSW preferred and at least one year

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required.
• LSW licensure preferred.
• Minimum one year of human services experience with youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management to youth and families in York and Cumberland counties.
• Assist in locating and securing stable housing and essential services.
• Link clients to housing resources and basic needs support.
• Participate in program initiatives and team meetings.
• Coordinate service teams and document in a timely fashion.
• Respond to crisis situations as needed and maintain safety.
