National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a contract Therapist for the Georgia Youth Counseling-Outpatient Mental Health Program (OPMH) in Tucker. Compensation is $35-40 per hour, depending on degree, experience, and licensure.

The role involves providing counseling, advocacy, and support to youth and families, traveling to community-based sites, completing documentation, and maintaining productive service delivery. NYAP emphasizes teamwork and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• At least 2 years direct service with youth and families preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support foster families.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and communities.
• Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Actively supports, represents, and extends the mission and values of the organization.
• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services and case management.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Completes all required training in a timely manner.
• Maintains productivity thresholds.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and family in the community.
• Reviews and updates youth-based plans to ensure progress.
• Builds strong relationships with foster parents and families.
• Assists in family reunification and stabilization efforts.
• Provides safety assessment and crisis response as needed.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities.
• engages in weekly supervision.
