Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program, located in Jasper, IN 47546, seeks an Experienced Therapist to provide counseling and advocacy for youth and families. Compensation starts at $60k per year with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or comparable human services field from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served.
• Capacity to work with diverse cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services, meeting established outcomes thresholds.
• Travel daily to provide community-based services to youth and families in compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor services for youth and family across mental health, medical, educational, and social domains.
• Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans to ensure progress toward goals.
• Establish strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
