Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Indiana seeks a licensed Therapist to provide counseling and therapy services to youth and families. The role includes family and community-based work and coordination of services to facilitate safe, stable living in the community.

The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a compensation level around $60k, with growth based on experience and licensure. Working hours are M-F 9-5 with occasional evening/weekend hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or comparable human services field from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services, meeting or exceeding established outcomes thresholds on behalf of persons served.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services to youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and family in the community, including mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
