Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a Behavioral Health Respite Treatment Advocate to support Hamilton County youth in home, community, and office settings. This contingent role offers up to 19 hours per week at $20.00 per hour, with weekdays 3 PM–8 PM and optional weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include developing youth treatment plans, providing 1-on-1 support, arranging transportation, and coordinating with families and partners.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program; GED accepted.
• Experience in child welfare or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel daily and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing youth treatment/service plans.
• Interact with youth to build trusting, supportive relationships and help achieve goals.
• Provide 1-on-1 activities and oversee treatment plan implementation.
• Document conversations and outcomes for billing and reporting.
• Identify community resources and services for youth development.
• Provide transportation for youth to and from activities as needed.
