Job summary

The Children’s Home in New York, NY is seeking full-time staff to provide community-based psychiatric and therapeutic support services for youth under 21. Roles involve CPST/PSR delivery with a focus on building supportive relationships and following established treatment plans.

Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, bilingual Spanish preferred, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• 2 years experience in Human Service field strongly preferred.
• Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPST.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with youth and families that meet their needs and follow the treatment plan.
• Promote the caregiver-child relationship in accordance with the established treatment plan.
• Identify and communicate behavioral, emotional or medical needs with consented providers involved in the youth's care.
• Confer with program supervisor, licensed professional, and program director on progress.
• Complete administrative functions, including scheduling visits and documenting requirements in a timely manner.
• Provide safe transportation as part of service delivery.
• Collaborate with youth, family, and other providers to ensure comprehensive care.
