The Brien Center for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Inc. in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a dedicated Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) Assistant to provide consistent, one-to-one support to parents or guardians of youth with emotional and behavioral health needs.

You will work as part of the FIT team to strengthen caregivers’ ability to help the youth function and reintegrate into the community. Weekdays, 1st shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or HISET with 2 years of experience with children/adolescents/transition-age youth.
• Associate’s degree in human services with 1 year of experience working with youth.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services with 1 year of experience working with the target population.
• Valid Driver’s License and use of personal vehicle for agency business.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to applicable regulations and organization policies.
• Engages families in home and community activities to meet treatment goals.
• Delivers services to improve family capacity to support youth’s needs.
• Attends FIT meetings and articulates youth strengths and goals.
• Maintains contact with the family 3-5 times per week.
• Offers and delivers services in home, community, schools, and other settings.
