Job summary

The Greater Austin YMCA is seeking a Youth & Family Director to oversee a diverse range of programs for children, teens and families, including Gymnastics, Dance, Kids Play, Youth Sports, Cultural & Arts Programs, Camp, and more. This leadership role ensures programs are delivered safely, creatively, and with excellence while driving innovation to enhance experiences for families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience planning, executing, and evaluating multi-phase programs.
• Ability to develop and manage seasonal and year-round programs.
• Strong knowledge of child and youth development and community engagement.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee current Youth and Family programs and new development.
• Establish operating standards to ensure quality and growth.
• Support marketing efforts to meet enrollment goals.
• Manage program budgets and fiscal targets.
• Coordinate facility use and collaborate with community organizations.
• Participate in fundraising initiatives and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain staff certifications and ensure safety policies.
