Job summary

arc After School and Experiential Education in San Diego is hiring a part-time Program Leader to guide students after school, support social-emotional learning, homework help, and enrichment activities at Normal Height Elementary School.

You will greet students, lead clubs, ensure safety, coordinate with families, and create engaging, inclusive activities while complying with safety protocols and school policies.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in diverse communities.
• Good communication with kids and parents.
• Must provide proof of 48+ college credits or pass an academic proficiency exam.
• TB test negative and Live Scan background check required.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at the end of the school day.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, crafts, and games.
• Participate in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance, etc.).
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety protocols and supervising groups.
