Job summary

YMCA of Central New Mexico is seeking an After School Program Staff member in Albuquerque. You will supervise a group of children, plan activities rooted in YMCA values, and ensure safety and program quality across locations.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or equivalent, and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications within 30 days of hire. Experience with school-age children and diverse populations is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; one year of college preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school-age setting.
• Experience with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a group of children.
• Plans and implements activities aligned with YMCA core values.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
• Ensures safety procedures and program ratios are met.
• Greets and maintains positive relationships with parents and staff.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and prepares materials.
