Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard & Port Hueneme is seeking a Teen Empowerment Advisor to deliver year-round programs and direct services to youth aged 11–18 in Oxnard and Port Hueneme. The role involves intake coordination, data entry, and active family engagement to boost youth retention.

You will conduct surveys, track attendance, recruit new participants, and liaise with schools and staff to implement Brent’s Club Program across local middle and high schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, counseling or related field.
• Ability to motivate youth.
• Ability to deal with the general public.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement year-round programs for youth.
• Provide ongoing case management services for youth.
• Maintain youth case management records.
• Coordinate intake/orientation with youth and parents/guardians.
• Conduct initial intake/orientation and survey for youth.
• Conduct follow-up calls to youth and parents/guardians.
