Job summary

Pressley Ridge is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Home Places program. The role focuses on engaging youth with intellectual disabilities and autism in daily activities, teaching life skills, and supporting transitions within a residential setting.

You will work closely with a treatment team to implement individualized plans and promote positive outcomes. The position involves supervising youth, assisting with daily routines, and participating in risk management and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with neurodivergent youth and/or youth who have experienced trauma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively engages youth in day-to-day activities to build independence and skills.
• Collaborates with treatment team to develop and implement goals.
• Responds to routine and emergency health care issues with appropriate team members.
• Facilitates daily living activities, coping skills, and community-based outings.
• Maintains documentation to communicate progress and outcomes.
