Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services Group is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with adolescents in a residential treatment setting. Build trusting relationships, mentor youths, and help with daily routines, school activities, medical appointments, and family visits.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree with related experience, a valid driver’s license, and completion of Crisis Management, CPR and First Aid trainings. Competitive benefits and weekend availability are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience working with children or adolescents
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Must pass mandated trainings including Crisis Management, CPR and First Aid

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships and mentor youth
• Encourage youth through daily challenges and promote positive decision-making
• Assist with daily living skills (bathing, feeding, grooming) and medication administration
• Support community integration via school activities, appointments, and outings
• Promote independence, confidence, and healthy social skills
• Participate in recreational activities and be a positive role model
